Just Looking to try Something New This Year?

I have placed all sorts of links and my thoughts on this blog, but as the school year approaches, it is crunch time and you might be looking to just try one or two new things this year when it comes to technology. Thanks to Free Technology for Teachers, a nice list of "11 Techy Things for Teachers to Try This Year" has just been published. I really like the idea of trying a class blog to get information out to parents. I also like the many things you can do with Google and Google Maps. Having the students tie a map with notes typed right onto the map to go along with whatever their project is sounds like something simple to do.
